I need your dirt! Not the juicy gossip kind but your actual dirt from the earth. I’m making a community quilt out of clay and decorating it with the dirt that you give me. The only catch is that I want dirt from someplace that holds some kind of reverence to you, and then I need you to tell me about why that place is special to you. I’m Chronicling the stories of the people here and our connection to the land. It is my belief that the people of Appalachia have a special connection to the land and I want to showcase that connection as well the people here!
